Why are some girls so stupid?

Why are most girls so worried about being equal to men, yet those same girls want chivalrous guys who respect them-? YOU CAN'T HAVE IT BOTH WAYS! I'm a girl and can't see why some girls find "equal rights" so important. If they want to be equal to men, they shouldn't complain if a guy hits them for calling them a name. I'm not saying that abuse is condonable (ever) but girls need to see that if they want to be treated like a guy, they have to be tough like a guy. Seems like girls would be happy to have a guy who respects them, and wants to take care of them (which is what I have and am perfectly happy with). Don't get me wrong, I'm an advocate for women being respected.. but there's just a different level of respect.. not lower, just different. Come on girls.. would you rather have a big hunky guy wrap his arms around you and take care of you so that you can spend time with your children-?.. orworry about being the breadwinner..? really. think about it. that's what i thought.
